5-finger firefighter glove with a reinforced palm is especially designed for hand protection of firefighters in almost any situation, but it does not serve as a fire penetration glove, and neither protects against risks that exceed the provisions of the UNE -EN 659/2003 + A1/2008, for example, electrical hazards.

SPECIFICATIONS

Features:

· 5-finger glove with a reinforced palm.
· Calfskin exterior, black color, chrome tanned, of approximately 1.1 to 1.2 mm thick, waterproof and fireproof.
· Comfortable internal insulating liner of high strength knitting.
· Moisture barrier of a waterproof and breathing membrane SYMPATEX.
· Elastic cuff adjusted to wrist of high strength tubular fabric.
· Seams made with high strength threads.
· Sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

The protection levels of mechanical and thermal protection meet the requirements of the UNE-EN 659/2003 + A1/2008 as protective gloves for firefighters:

· ABRASION: Level 4 (> 8000 cycles), according to EN 388.
· CUTTINGS: Level 2 (index 4.1), according to EN 388.
· TEARINGS: Level 3 (73 Newtons), according to EN 388.
· PERFORATION: Level 4 (223 Newtons), according to EN 388.
· FLAME RESISTANCE: Level 4 (0 sec.) according to EN 407.
· Convective Heat: HTI24: palm 19 sec., reverse side 22.7 seconds, according to EN 367.
· RADIANT HEAT: HTI24: 36.3 sec., according to EN ISO 6942.
· CONTACT HEAT: 34.71 sec., at 250 º C, according to EN 702.
· Heat resistance (ISO 17493): The lining material is ok at 180º. Shrinkage: <5% at 180º .
· Resistance to water penetration: Level 1 (EN ISO 20344).
· RESISTANCE TO CHEMICALS PENETRATION: No penetration at 30% H2S04; Na0H 40%, 36% HCI, Heptane, according to EN ISO 6530.

Maintenance:

When its condition so requires, the glove can be cleaned by brushing under the responsibility of the user. In case of more intense dirt they can be cleaned with water, with neutral soap added, and at maximum 40 ° C, although dry cleaning is always preferable. The indicated productivity cannot be guaranteed after washing.
